I’ve known Bill Lam for almost 15 years and I was thrilled when I heard he was running for Town Council! Livingston is a wonderful, special place and it deserves to have leaders who are also wonderful and special people, and Bill definitely fits the…. bill. Bill cares. Bill shows up. Bill plans and organizes. Bill dreams of what could be and then tries to make it happen. Bill is always looking for ways to make what is already good even better while also thinking about what is still needed that many of us hadn’t even thought about. These are all qualities that Livingston should be looking for in a Councilman and I have no doubt that Bill will give everything he has to keep Livingston great and make it even better. 

On a personal level, Bill is a social, funny, and smart guy who cares about his family, friends and community.  He has spent nearly his whole life in Livingston and has deep roots here.  The work he has done and the time that he has given in starting a variety of non-profit robotics teams and national competitions is truly amazing and honorable. Bill likes to get involved, and when he gets involved he only knows one way of doing it; going all in. I am very excited about Bill running for Town Council and I can’t wait to see what he can do in the role.
