To revitalize Livingston’s commercial core and protect our local taxpayers, I propose the establishment of the Livingston Innovation & Technology Exchange (LITE) at our Class A office vacancy locations. With our local office vacancy rate currently hovering at 23.25%, we have a critical opportunity to repurpose these underutilized “dark” office spaces on Eisenhower Parkway and Route 10 into a premier Strategic Innovation Center—bringing in a potential $5 million in tax revenue to offset the burden on our residential taxpayers.

Livingston is a community defined by its commitment to education. As a resident and a candidate for Township Council, I recognize that our schools are the foundation of our town’s success and the primary reason most families choose to call Livingston home. My goal is to continue to provide the steady, thoughtful support needed to maintain this excellence through a close working relationship with the Board of Education (BOE).

Livingston is built on a foundation of mutual respect and the diverse perspectives that make us strong. I will ensure that every resident feels safe in their home, their business, and their place of worship. We have a proud tradition of protecting all our religious and community institutions. Our police department does an incredible job, and as your Township Council member, I will ensure they have the resources to keep every member of our community safe and supported.

Our current Township Council meetings inadvertently excluding many of our most vital voices. Right now, Council meetings are streamed, but they are not truly hybrid. This means you can watch from home, but you cannot participate unless you are physically standing in Town Hall. If elected, I will champion a transition to True Hybrid Meetings and encourage active participation.

To revitalize Livingston’s underutilized Class B and Class C office space and protect our local taxpayers, I will propose incentives to foster the establishment incubator spaces for entrepreneurs young of age and young of heart. With our high Class B/C office vacancy rate we have a wonderful opportunity to energize the community and support local businesses

I propose training and informational materials to support first time candidates and help overcome the implicit and explicit barriers that exist for citizens interested in running for local government. We are in a truly historic new era of local elections where voters have true choice in local primaries, resulting from Andy Kim's Federal Court victory that overturned the old "County-Line" or "Party-Line" practice of unopposed local primaries.
